Memorials
We honour every life needlessly lost to overdose.
Every person taken was and is loved by someone, and we acknowledge the pain and grief each loss carries. Every life here was precious, every person here mattered. In love and solidarity, we remember every victim of the drug war.

Serving in the past as the president of Alberta Addicts Who Educate and Advocate Responsibly (AAWEAR) as well as working as an outreach worker at Streetworks, Karen worked hard to give a voice to those who suffered from drug abuse.

Steven is described as Joy, laughter and love, he was the type of kid that would get on your last nerve to the breaking point and make you laugh all at the same time. He had a huge heart for the homeless, even when he had nothing to give, he would give the clothes off his back and shoes off his feet to make someone else’s day a little easier.
